Prep Time: 20 Minutes

Cook Time: 1 Hour

Total Time: 1 Hour 20 Minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1/4 cup Hazelnut Chocolate Spread
  • 1/4 cup Almond Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey
  • 4 oz. Cream Cheese, divided
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1 scoop (about 25g) Chocolate or Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 2 oz. Wide Awake Energy Mocha Drink
  • Cocoa Powder, for dusting

Method

  1. In a food processor, combine rolled oats, hazelnut chocolate spread, almond butter, honey, 2 oz. cream cheese, salt, protein powder, and energy mocha drink. Pulse slowly until mixture just comes together to form a coarse sticky dough. Chill for 1 hour.
  2. Divide dough into 12 balls about 1-1/2 inch in size. Cut the remaining cream cheese evenly into 12 pieces. One at a time, press a deep thumbprint into each dough ball and fill it with a piece of cream cheese, gently pressing the mixture to cover the cream cheese with dough. Reroll to shape and repeat with remaining dough.
  3. Dust protein bites with cocoa powder and eat immediately, or store protein bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or the freezer for up to 3 months.
