Total Time: 1 Hour 20 Minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 1/4 cup Hazelnut Chocolate Spread
- 1/4 cup Almond Butter
- 2 Tbsp. Honey
- 4 oz. Cream Cheese, divided
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1 scoop (about 25g) Chocolate or Vanilla Protein Powder
- 2 oz. Wide Awake Energy Mocha Drink
- Cocoa Powder, for dusting
Method
- In a food processor, combine rolled oats, hazelnut chocolate spread, almond butter, honey, 2 oz. cream cheese, salt, protein powder, and energy mocha drink. Pulse slowly until mixture just comes together to form a coarse sticky dough. Chill for 1 hour.
- Divide dough into 12 balls about 1-1/2 inch in size. Cut the remaining cream cheese evenly into 12 pieces. One at a time, press a deep thumbprint into each dough ball and fill it with a piece of cream cheese, gently pressing the mixture to cover the cream cheese with dough. Reroll to shape and repeat with remaining dough.
- Dust protein bites with cocoa powder and eat immediately, or store protein bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or the freezer for up to 3 months.
